the rise and fall

Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. Sometimes we think it can be attained if you have lots of money, surrounded with pleasurable things and expensive stuffs; it is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.I've learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances. For so many times, I seek for true happiness only to find out that I shouldn't have sought for it, it is anyway a length-hand away...just within me!!
“Don’t rely on someone else for your happiness and self worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can’t love and respect yourself – no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are – completely; the good and the bad – and make changes as YOU see fit – not because you think someone else wants you to be different.”
