Parola is situated in Barangay Barrido, Ajuy, Iloilo. It is not that far from the Ajuy main land,it is only 30 minutes, so you can get there in no time. Parola is also known as Kalabasa Island because of its squash-like shape. Kalabasa Island gained its popularity in the local and even foreign tourist because of its white sand, coral gardens, marine resources and most especially of its lighthouse. This lighthouse was the 2nd oldest lighthouse in the Philippine history.
